What is Tales of Tyria?

Tales of Tyria is a podcast covering the upcoming massively multiplayer role playing game (MMORPG) Guild Wars 2.  Each show is usually composed of at least 3 segments (see below) in which the hosts describe/discuss/speculate on various aspects of the game and it's community.  The show's format will change once the game becomes playable, and we aspire to improve it based upon listener feedback.  If you have any comments, questions, or criticisms, please feel free to email us: feedback@talesoftyria.com

Show Segments

Each show is typically comprised of at least 3 seperate segemnts, and although some appear in most episodes (like news) there is no strict rotation.  We have a set of segments we will be using for the shows before the game comes out (pre-release) and another set of segments to add/replace those once the game is playable.

Pre-Release Segments

• News - We reveal and discuss any relevent news to the game's development.
• What are you playing? - A short segment where we talk about the games we’ve been playing recently while waiting for GW2.
• Bridger Rant - A short, passionate, and loud proclaimation about whatever is making Bridger angry this week.
• Mailbag - Q&A from you, the listener!  Send us your topics/questions to feedback@talesoftyria.com
• Roundtable - We examine any interesting pre-release questions/topics and discuss them. 
• Table Scraps - Smaller topics that don't warrent a full roundtable topic, but are still worth talking about.
• What We Know - This section will discuss a specific aspect of GW2 that we already know a lot about.  We'll break down what we know and how it is different from other games and why it's awesome (or not).
