Tales of Tyria #35: The March of the Golems

This week we take the opportunity to discuss our experiences from BWE #2 while it's fresh in our minds.  We start with WvW and make our way through Structured PvP over to PvE, Crafting, and the Finale event.  We also spoke at length about the market system in GW2, and how you can take advantage of it and stop giving Freelancer money :P

nice episode, like always. i was kind of surprised you didn't mention the mesmer in bugged classes. there was an enormous amount of feedback on that and the fact that clones don't do damage anymore, phantasms were overpowered and both really worked against each other in this beta build. engineer and mesmer are both going to change a lot, but with the mesmer it really shows that this class was the last to be designed. the difference between the first open beta build and this one was immense and the devs mentioned that we kind of got some insight into their class development process there. this showed mostly in sPvP and PvE, since it relies far more on utilities in WvW anyways and those were mostly untouched. i hope you will do a show centered around the different classes, it would be really nice to hear some insight into classes your viewers haven't played by you guys. i mostly played mesmer, elementalist and ranger during the betas (some thief testing aswell, which really didn't appeal to me). hearing some player feedback from the other classes would really be great and even knowing what you think about the classes i played myself!

This episode was great in that it highlighted how you were able to dominate WvW and the market - thanks for the tips. Like Musik, I was hoping for a bit more discussion on classes. I played a Mesmer and their was a lot of discussion on the official forum regarding the class. It would also be cool to see some more discussion regarding overall game impressions, the community, thoughts on dynamic events, and overall PvE experience. Additionally, I didn't play BWE1, so I would love to hear you guys compare/contrast the two experiences a bit more than you did.
