Tales of Tyria #44: Story Time!

This week's Tales of Tyria features a brand new segment called "Story Time" in which we tell an entertaining story that happened to someone in GW2.  We'll be featuring stories from not only the hosts but also the audience.  So if you have a particularly interesting encounter and a way with words, send us your story: feedback@talesoftyria.com.  Also featured this week is discussion of the recent Stress Test changes, a new GW2 iPhone app, and a ton of mailbag questions from our audience.

Can you update the Shownotes link, it points to #43 and I was hoping to find the names of that app in the shownotes.

I know this may not be the best place to ask, but where on earth do people hear about these stress tests? I frequent the gw2 forum and website to check on these sorts of things but I never know about them until afterwards... What is the point of a stress test if they aren't getting the word out to as many people as possible? I really need a fix man!!!!!!!!!!

@DaedalusDragon Personally I frequent the MMO champ and gamefaq's forums and someone always posts. You could check gw2status.com . When word gets out It's usually posted up on there with a count down timer based on your local time, USually you don't have over a 24 hour heads up that it's happening. But otherwise.. I'd kinda like to know as well. :P

@David, Thank you

@DaedalusDragon, they usually post them on the official GW2 Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/GuildWars2> and Twitter <twitter.com/GuildWars2>

I wish they used their website more. I have an intense disdain for facebook and even more so for twitter. I guess I'll have to bookmark some 3rd party website for any news... I guess it doesn't matter... 1 week left!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!1!1!!!!!!001101001010100010110100101010
