I never, EVER commented on a tales of tyria episode. But i just had to this time! Great show, the advertisements had me on the floor laughing xD.
You should really release those as a separate youtube video or something so I can show it to everyone without having to opne the entire podcast and look for it.
Bridger looks a lot like Pee-wee Herman in this episode. Its not good.
TOMORROW! TOMORROW IS! TOMORROW IS RELEASE! TOMORROW IS RELEASE DAY!!!!!! ERMAGERD!
(Kind of... It might release up to 3 hours early... so we shall see...)
I'm trying to do mass amounts of research, as I haven't been doing nearly enough, and IT'S ALMOST LAUNCH AHHH. Anyway, I was planning on rolling a Mesmer. But going through some of your old episodes, I heard freelancer say that for SPvP, just don't play a Mesmer. I plan on doing WvW more than SPvP, is the Mesmer useless there too? I enjoy playing the so called underpowered classes, as usually you can find tricks that can catch people by surprise because the class is underused, and not seen often. I'm also big into the mind games that seem to be the Mesmer's thing. However, if it's just going to be a long suffering, and complete uselessness in any PvP modes, I don't really want to try it. Can I get some clarification here? Thanks.
I am not an expert on mesmers and so I won't pretend to be but if there are any serious issues that make a mesmer any less fun than other classes (or viable), I'm sure Anet will fix it ASAP. Pick the class that has the most interesting aspects and go from there.
Who has two thumbs and is an Anet fanboy? THIS GUY! (me)
Twas the night before GuildWars, when all threw the house
Not a keyboard was typing, nor clicking of a Mouse.
The Mt.Dews were stock in the fridge with care,
In hopes that Gw2 would soon be there.
The players so nestled all snug in thier beds
While visions of LogOn screens danced in their heads.
And printed out spreadsheets, spread out on the table,
Over five years of waiting, they were willing and able.
When out on the LAN there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my Win7 I flew like the flash,
Like the great Hulk, power button I smash
after an update or three to what i would see,
Their magnificent art gazed there sights upon me.
Splash screen of white with red ink that run threw,
after patiently waiting Anet bore Guildwars2.
@PaleAssassin
If Mesmers are useless in SPvP (due to being weaker at 1v1), I'm sure that won't be the case forever. In addition, Mesmers are damn useful in WvW, specifically for their portal skill, but also their good AOE condition/boon capabilities.
